WTC final: Ind-Aus to meet in ICC men's final for first time after 20 years

Relive the historic Ind-Aus rivalry from 20 years ago, ICC Men's Final between India and Australia

After a thrilling one-wicket win over Sri Lanka, New Zealand's victory in Christchurch confirmed India a spot in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final. Dimuth Karunaratne-led Sri Lanka had to whitewash the hosts and hope India wouldn't win their ongoing match against Australia in the 2022/23 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Nevertheless, Kane Williamson's unbeaten 121, his 27th Test ton, propelled the Tim Southee-led Black Caps to an exciting one-wicket win, on the last ball of the first Test, in pursuit of 285.

India has officially qualified for the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final and will face Australia, led by Pat Cummins, in a highly anticipated match at The Oval on June 07. After two decades, the two arch-rivals will battle it out in an ICC men's final, with the last match between them taking place at the 2003 ODI World Cup in Johannesburg. Don't miss out on this historic event!
